Hi there, and thanks for stopping by! This space is all about celebrating the vibrant world of traditional dance here in Western Massachusetts and beyond.

I’ll be sharing news about local dances happening around the Pioneer Valley — from Northampton to Greenfield, Amherst to Holyoke — as well as updates on bigger events like NEFFA (the New England Folk Festival) and other dance organizations that help keep these traditions alive.

Along the way, I’ll also be writing about a dream I’m working toward: opening a school of traditional dance right here in the Valley. I’m still figuring out the details (Holyoke is at the top of my list!), but I’ll be posting updates as things come together.

Whether you’re an experienced dancer, someone curious about folk traditions, or just looking for fun ways to get moving and meet people, I hope this blog becomes a helpful resource and a source of inspiration.
